I use a brother xr-7700 and I would buy it again :)
ReplyDelete15 Years ago I bought my original Kenmore. When the mother board went out I bought the exact same machine with a couple extra bells and whistles.
ReplyDeleteI have a singer quantum that I bought 7 years ago. It's a good enough machine, but I'd not buy it again though. There's not enough room for quilting anything bigger than toddler size quilts!
ReplyDeleteI use a Janome 6600 and if I could buy again I would buy it, or perhaps something that costs even more! (If I am imagining being in the market for a new machine I'm going to imagine big and imagine money is no object!) I would maybe buy a Handi Quilter Sweet Sixteen. I think that machine and I are friends. Never met, but destined for each other I think!
ReplyDeleteI have a Juki...and I love it! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteHave a very happy birthday week! I have a Janome 4120QDC and I love it beyond love it. Its name is Oscar.
ReplyDeleteGreat give-away!
ReplyDeleteI have a vintage Sterling machine and no thoughts of replacing it. It's just wonderful!
I use a Brother XL-2220, it's been great as a basic machine, but I am thinking of upgrading to something with a few more bells and whistles.
ReplyDeleteI honestly cannot remember what type my main sewing machine is! I've had it about 6 years, but the branding has long since worn off. It's an E-somethingsomething I think... If and when it needs replacing I would definitely get another, it's been fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI use a Bernina Bernette 66 and I would definitely buy her again! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI use a 35yr old Singer 4032 that I snagged from my mom after she bought a fancy new Bernina. I love the Singer. It runs like a dream, has plenty of stitch options and the saying is true..."they don't make them like they used to". If I needed a new machine and found one in good condition I would absolutely pick up the same machine in a heartbeat!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway opportunity!

I use a Kenmore, and I love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
melissajpalmer at yahoo dot com
I use a Toyota quilt 50, it's good, but the quilting guide doesn't fit on the walking foot, stupid!
ReplyDeleteAnd on Twitter!
ReplyDeleteI have my mothers's old Husqvarna .... I have no idea what the model is .... I think it was her 21st present so it's probably about 45 years old now.
ReplyDeleteI'm following you now.
ReplyDeleteFab give away! I have a Bernina Activa Patchwork edition and I love her to bits! Bit pricey but well worth it.

I have a Singer 8280. It works fine for easy patchwork and simple sewing, like skirts. It's not good for quilting, so I might end up buying another machine as soon as I save up enough money!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this awesome giveaway!
I own a brother and if I upgraded I would get another Brother
ReplyDeleteI have a Janome DKL603 and I would definitely buy it again. It does all I ask of it and more. It's a great SEWING machine. It doesn't do fancy stitches or embroidery but it does everything else very well.
ReplyDeleteI don't use a machine! I do all my sewing by hand so far. If I get into quilting, though, I suppose I'll have to get one. Haha.
ReplyDeleteI have an Elna quilters dream, 12 years old. Would def buy it again. Never a problem (one lightbulb replacement only!)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Following now!
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE Good Folks! I use a simple Elna. I wouldn't get it again, but it does me for now. :)
ReplyDeleteI use my mom's old Kenmore and it's working great. She has a Baby Lock Quest and even though it's also doing a great job, when I buy a new machine, I'll probably not buy this one !
ReplyDeleteThanks for those two chances !
I wish Mendocino gods would shine on me lol
I have a Bernina 150 and yes, oh yes, I'd buy it again! :) Thanks for a chance at such great prizes!
ReplyDeleteI have a basic Brother, and I would eventually like to upgrade, but I'm happy pretty happy with it now!
ReplyDeletei have a brother, basic machine but i'm super happy for now with its capabilities!
ReplyDeleteim a follower with bloglovin
ReplyDeleteI use a 'vintage' Kenmore, it's a hand me down so I didn't buy it at all, but it's a workhorse and it suits my needs for now. Some day I'll upgrade :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning! I have a Viking 500 from 1995. I love it! It has been a true work horse and I've never had it in the shop (knock on wood). I'd hate to give it up, but if I did, I think I'd like to try some other brand, just to see if there is a true difference. I think most of the machine are good ones these days.

ReplyDeleteI use a Brother I got last year for Christmas. I have a certain fondness for it but the next time I buy I am upgrading. It gets through what it needs to, trudges along and takes lots of abuse, I would like more bells and whistles though :-)
ReplyDeleteI use a husqvarna emerald and I would get it again - it's sooo easy to use and I haven't had any trouble with it at all - and elastic thread can be machine wound :)
ReplyDeleteI now follow you
ReplyDeleteI have a Pfaff Creative Vision 5.0, would definitely buy again, or at least the new version - the Sensation :)
ReplyDeleteI have a Brother 2600i.
ReplyDeleteI would buy it again for another beginner (my daughter maybe) if mine broke... But I would not buy another one for me. I would want my next machine to have more options and feed dogs that I can drop!!!
I'm following you!!
ReplyDeleteI have a simple Kenmore and I love it!
ReplyDeleteI sprang for a Bernina 430 last summer and I haven't regretted it for a second. I love the feet and the stitch quality. Hopefully I will be around a good long time to sew on it and get my money's worth!!
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower!
ReplyDeletei use a brother cs-6000i. i like it very well, and it was in my price range... i've recommended it to others!
ReplyDeleteI have a vintage Viking 19e which I adore and would buy again, and sort of did, because I also have a Viking 21a which is the same thing but with a few decorative stitches! It's a beautiful retro shape and green.
ReplyDeleteI have a Simplicity Quilter's Classic SW240. I like how many attachments it came with(especially for the price), but I don't think I would buy it again because of constant tension issues, even at the shop after they repaired it!
ReplyDeleteI have a Viking. It is my second Viking, plus I have their serger. So yes, I would buy a Viking again.
ReplyDeleteI am a new blog follower!
ReplyDeleteI am a new Twitter follower (@Px2Patchwork)
ReplyDeleteI use an older singer. My mom bought it for me about ten years ago but it has been pretty good for my needs. thanks
ReplyDeletelbroadstreet@tds.net
My new machine is a Bernina 350PE and yes, so far, I'm happy with it. I got it in March of 2012. The brand was highly recommended and they were having a good sale.

ReplyDeleteks.eyles@yahoo.co.uk
I have a second hand Elna Diva. I love it, it would be even better if I new how to use all the fancy options ;)

ReplyDeleteI have a Janome 6600 and IF it ever gives out on me I will buy another
ReplyDeleteI use an old old brother, which I love, hand me down from family member, so I would probably buy something more up to date - but not for a long time yet!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fab giveaway!
I used a Viking Emerald and love it! I would definitely buy it again. It was a great starter machine, and has been working hard with me on quilt after quilt for the past 7 years. It sees some action most days and has never given me a single hiccough
ReplyDeleteI use a machine by White that my mom got cheap at Joanns more than a decade ago. It works fine, but if I was to get a new machine, I would choose one that can do a little more.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance!
I have a Brother cs6000i. I'd probably buy it again - For the number of features and accessories that come with it, it really comes at a good price (it's ALWAYS on sale through Amazon!), which right now is the most important "feature" a machine could have, haha! Thanks for the chance to win - love that wrap pattern!
ReplyDeleteI use a really old Singer that I inherited from my Gram - not a bad machine but I probably wouldn't buy another old one!
ReplyDeleteI have a brother, and yes I would buy it again :) x
ReplyDeleteI sew on a Singer Esteem II and I hate it. :P Cheap! I will be getting an entry level Viking I bought off Craigs List this weekend. So excited!!!

I have a Brother. It's pretty basic, but I'm happy with it.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the giveaway!
I have a Pfaff Expression 2.0 and I'd buy one again (not that I bought the first one - it was a very generous gift from my Dad!). It's served me very well so far for making quilts and clothing.
ReplyDeletethis is great! :)

my email is supersharmie at gmail dot com

I use a Singer model 15-88, a treadle, from 1930something. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI have a Janome that is actually a refurbished Kenmore. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but it works for a basic machine. I'm looking for something a bit fancier to be able to free motion quilt.
ReplyDeleteI have a Bernette, basic machine but works great!
ReplyDeleteI have a basic Kenmore. It was great for when I was just starting out, now, I need something much better!
ReplyDeletei have a singer curvy and i love it
ReplyDeleteI have two: a Singer Overlock and the Privileg Superstar Deluxe (don't know why Deluxe, guess it was at that time, now it would be just a normal sewing mashine:D). I got both mashines from my mom and they're doing a good job until now. I think I would take them also when I have to buy them.
ReplyDeleteI become a new follower!
ReplyDeleteI follow on twitter @OberleitnerA
ReplyDeleteThanks for the prizes! I sew with a kenmore from sears---have been for 12 years, so yes---a good one. My serger is a janome--it is great too :)

ReplyDeleteI have a Janome QXL605 and love it - but it's not the big-girl machine you are looking for!
ReplyDeleteI follow here xxx
ReplyDeleteI have a Brother Innovis 350E, I had a problem but it was my fault (inexperience!) and got it fixed... I would buy it again . I also have a Janome J-18 as emergency help and defo would buy it again! thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI now follow you on Twitter x
ReplyDeleteI use a cheap Brother machine and would never buy it again - it is impossible to get the thread tension correct.

ReplyDeletebbbmonce(at)yahoo(dot)com
I have a janome 6600p and would buy it again in a heartbeat! I love this machine so much!!
ReplyDeleteI use a 25-year-old Kenmore. I don't think I could buy it again if I wanted to. I do know that I wouldn't buy a machine that is all computerized--I love the simplicity of my old workhorse. And, may I say that I am extremely jealous of your Good Folks stash. I was late to the party and totally missed out.
ReplyDeleteI have a Bernina 330 named Victoria, but she goes by Tori. We are in love.
ReplyDeleteI have a Janome HT2008 and I love it! An incredible machine for a very reasonable price!

ReplyDeleteanghhong(at)yahoo(dom)com
I use a Brother 420 and I love it. I have bought a newer Singer and HATE it. I also just bought a used Brother sewing/embroidery machine from a friend but have not had a chance to try it.
ReplyDeleteI love the fabrics in the second prize package! I use a Janome DC4030PR only since Christmas but I love it so far. I sew mainly clothes and home decor but would like to learn to quilt eventually. Thank you for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteSo I started with a Brother CS-6000i which for the price got really good reviews, but I had to return 2 of them for bobbin issues. And since I still did not have a lot of money but did want a cheap amazon or walmart machine I decided to get a nicer used machine. I found an Elna 3007, which is working real well for me, only thing I would change is having automatic memorized needle down. Im going crazy without that. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI have a old kenmore machine, I need to get a new one soon....
ReplyDeleteI have a Kenmore that is pretty much Janome made from what I understand. Very solid and no complaints as my mother got it from the thrift store and it has been great so far. Of course, eyeing the Bernina and just sewed like a dream.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this giveaway. I have 4 machines - Brother overlocker (hardly use), a second Bernina 1130, a brand new Bernina 630 and a combo embroidery and sewing machine, Brother Innovis 4000. I bought 1130 used 13 years ago because I could not justify to my husband a new machine. After 13 years of hard work and still going strong, I finally convinced my husband that a brand new Bernina is the way to go. The combo machine is also a great machine as it is very user friendly. I used it for machine embroidery only.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless

I'm a die hard Pfaff lover:-) My best machine is an old Pfaff (30 or 40 y.o) and I purchased it used 20 years ago. It is a work horse and still going strong. I started looking at new machines lately and I'm convinced Pfaff is the way to go this time too. I looked at many others but just haven't been impressed.
ReplyDeleteI have a basic Brother machine (not even sure of the model) and if I had to do it again, I'd buy a machine more designed for quilting.

ReplyDeleteWow great giveaway! I love the owl - would look so cute embroidered on pillow!! I have a Toyota from the tip/dump that friends gave to me reconditioned as a birthday gift. As much as I love it I would prefer something more fancy!
ReplyDeleteI love my Janome MC 3500 - though I would often like it to be a bit bigger to fit a quilt under. I also have my Grandmothers Professional Elna machine that I would one day like to attempt to use but it looks so scary!
ReplyDeleteI had to leave behind my Janome when I moved across the Atlantic and couldn't afford to buy it again :(. I do love my John Lewis machine though-it's a great beginner machine, just sometimes I miss one step buttonholing, drop foot feature and the range of decorative stitches...
ReplyDeleteA pfaff tiptronic and Id buy it again in a flash!
ReplyDeleteI have a John Lewis own brand machine that was all I could afford two years ago but guess what? I love it! Love the AMH, thakyou for the giveaway xx
ReplyDeleteI use my mother's Singer sewing machine. I would definitely buy it for myself. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI have quite an old Janome, and I would definitley get it again. I've also used a newer version that belonged to my friend, and it was nice too.
ReplyDeleteI have a Babylock Ellure. Does embroidery and sewing. A good middle of the line machine for the money. If I would buy another machine, I would go for something made with more metal and better lighting.
ReplyDeleteFollower thru GFC and I spent so much time looking at your pins and flickr paper piecing. Love it too!
ReplyDeleteI have a brother LB6800 and I love it I would certainly buy it again the only thing I'd change is for it to have a larger embroidery field.
ReplyDeleteI have a Brother CS6000i which I do like but I'm not sure I'd purchase again...I've already had some trouble with the quality of the parts :/
ReplyDeleteI use a husqvarna Viking Sapphire 875 quilt machine. It doesn't stitch as flawlessly as I'd like (for the $$) so I don't think I'd purchase it again!
ReplyDeleteI have a Pfaff 2056 - but it's 8+ years old and I couldn't buy it again if I wanted to! I was admiring a $3000 Elna last weekend at the sewing expo, though. Love the blue colorway!
ReplyDeletei use an 80s singer and i love it.
ReplyDeletenew follower here. thanks.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great giveaway! Thank you for the chance!! I have an Elna Quilter's Dream, it was a hand-me-down from my husband's aunt (who taught me how to quilt). I don't know if I could ever afford to buy one (I hear Elna's are $$$), but if I could I would definitely buy another one. Hopefully this one lasts me forever though. Knock on wood! ;)
ReplyDeleteI have an older machine but I really like it - a New Home (Janome) Memorycraft. If they make their machines now like they did then it's very sturdy and has required only routine maintenance in 20 years. Thanks for a terrific giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI have a Pfaff 7570 that I got from my grandma and I love it!
ReplyDeleteI sew on a Husqvarna Lily and I wouldn't but it again simply because the walking foot is so difficult to get on and off!
ReplyDeleteI used a featherweight by my mum and I think i can't find any similar sewing machine like this.
ReplyDeleteFollow you on twitter too.
ReplyDeleteMy machine is a Bernina 220 and I love it!

ReplyDeletesntbosch(at)msn(dot)com
I have a janome 6600 and I love it!
ReplyDeleteMy parents wanted to get me a ring for my college graduation. Practical to a fault, I asked for a sewing machine, the same Husqvarna Selectronic 190 (I think? I'm not near it now to check) that my mom has. That was over 20 years ago (not sure how that statement is true...) and yes, I'd definitely buy it again. It went on the fritz last year and I was so afraid it was dead! I don't want to give it up! Thanks for this chance.
ReplyDeleteI have a Bernina Activa 240 and I would definitely buy it again. It does so many things that I could spend hours just playing with it. Thank you so much for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteOh I love Good Folks! I have a cheapo Singer Simple I bought for $70 three years ago because it was all I could afford to replace my old machine when my daughter snapped the spool pin off. I'm due for an upgrade after we get our income tax refund next year... (And no, I wouldn't buy it again. I've really gotten my money's worth out of it, though...) xo
ReplyDeleteI use a Husqvarna Viking E160. It is a good beginner machine, but I'd like something a little more sophisticated now
